Co-design is a practice of designing with, not for while extending design power beyond who pays you. It begins with relationship - with the people, stories, and lineages that shape what is possible. I partner with communities, organizations, and teams to develop approaches rooted in the living and lived experiences of those most impacted. Together, we surface power dynamics, unspoken needs, and inherited assumptions - designing systems of care, not control.
This work is about practicing the future in the present: shaping strategies, services, and structures that honor what’s strong, while tending to what must evolve - so that those who come after us inherit better conditions than we did.
Offerings include:
Co-Design & Future Visioning Labs
Interactive, participatory work sessions for shaping strategic plans, service offerings, or implementation roadmaps. These labs invite communities and stakeholders into generative dialogue that builds alignment, power, and shared accountability for the futures they envision.
Design Marathons
A time-bound, equity-centered alternative to traditional design sprints - integrating design justice, systems thinking, and relational care. These marathons foster connection, thoughtful iteration, and co-creation with those most impacted by the outcomes.
Idea Forges
Playful, generative sessions for collective imagination and creative experimentation - reimagining funding models, testing new governance structures, or prototyping alternative economies. A place to dream in the direction of liberation.
Community-led Design and Governance Processes
Facilitated participatory processes that shift decision-making power to communities. These engagements prioritize transparency, trust, and shared stewardship - ensuring that those most affected have a direct role in shaping policies, services, and systems.
